All of our Labracadabra pups are sold as pet only. Because of this is that all puppies sold are to be desexed before homing unless going to a breeding home or guardian family. There are many reasons for this, for me the overwhelming reason is to stop irresponsible or accidental breeding of puppies we have bred. We insist that any dogs from us must be returned to us in the case of re-homing being necessary. I would be horrified to know that descendants of our dogs may end up in shelters due to poor breeding practices.

 

At Labracadabra we choose to de-sex via Vasectomies for the boys and Ovary Sparing Spay for the girls. This is to maintain the necessary sex hormones that the pups need for optimum growth and development.
